The Woodlands Caravan Park

The Woodlands Caravan Park and Camping Site is nestled amongst some of the most beautiful countryside Wales has to offer. This unspoiled area remains a hidden gem and offers peace and quiet for those who want to relax and enjoy the scenery and nature in its natural habitat.

There is a lovely gift shop and tearoom on our park which serves cakes and meals from 9. a.m. It also sells a small selection of groceries and quality local produce. We do not have a clubhouse but we are conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the famous village of Devil's Bridge where you will find a friendly hotel/pub serving good quality food. As well as the spectacular 300 ft waterfalls in the village, a narrow gauge steam railway runs its scenic journey between Aberystwyth and Devils Bridge which is a very popular tourist attraction. 
 
For those who like walking, there are gentle and more challenging walks to take straight from the park. On days when you want to be out and about you can spend time on the coast enjoying the sea and beaches nearby and try out the boat trips on offer. Alternatively, you could stay inland and explore rural Mid Wales with its many interesting market towns and small villages. Drive into the Cambrian Mountains to see the spectacular Elan Valley and view the beautiful reservoirs. Within 10 miles drive of the park, there is river fishing, stocked fishing lakes, horseriding, and golf. 5 miles away, at Nant Yr Arian nature reserve, there are walks of various distances and a tea room and play area with views over the lakes. There is also the chance to see Red Kites being fed daily and the opportunity to use the mountain biking tracks.

The university town of Aberystwyth is only a 20-minute drive away and has plenty of things to do including cinemas, museums, a castle, a theatre, tennis courts, restaurants, and supermarkets.  The seafront is an ideal place to enjoy an ice cream and a gentle stroll along the prom.
