Moat Farm Holiday Home Park

For nearly sixty years we have welcomed generations of families to our beautiful family run holiday park, we pride ourselves in the friendly and personal service we offer to all our customers and are always on the park if help or support is needed.

Moat Farm was once our families dairy and sheep farm, before diversifying into the tourism industry. Set beside the meandering river Rhiw in one of the most picturesque valleys in Mid Wales, Moat Farm Holiday Park is a real riverside retreat.

Relax and let nature envelope your senses, watch and listen, spot woodpeckers, kingfishers, plovers, otters, badgers, red kites, owls and many other species.

Let time stand still while creating your own family history beside our very own 12th century Motte. The village of Manafon has a 17th century inn and a picturesque grade 2 listed church where world renowned Welsh author and poet R S Thomas was rector for 12 years.

A circular walk, public footpaths and bridle paths are on our doorstep, O.S maps will provide more information.

We are approximately an hours drive from the West Midlands, 10 miles from Welshpool, home to the National Trust property of Powys Castle, 9 miles from the market town of Newtown and 5 miles from the picture perfect welsh village of Berriew boasting 2 restaurants, a country inn and walks along the Montgomeryshire canal.

Our holiday home park is flat, making it accessible to all, well lit and has CCTV.

All holiday home plots are fully serviced, have hard standings and benefit from scenic views of the surrounding countryside, some have piped gas and some are riverside plots.

For your pleasure, we have a large area of well kept leisure parkland, running alongside the river, with fishing rights extending a little further.

At your request telephone and full fibre broadband are available to order.

We do not allow subletting of holiday homes, they can only be used by the holiday home owner and their family, helping to create a sense of community for your home from home experience.

Please do not hesitate to contact us or pop in to say hello, we look forward to meeting you,
