Beverley Walkergate at Pearl Lake Leisure Park

This 2027 Beverley Walkergate is a fine example of cutting-edge holiday home design. The manufacturers say they’ve listened to customers, and the result is this competitively priced home that flows, is spacious in all right places, has freestanding furniture and is light and bright throughout. You enter the Walkergate through the fully obscure glazed side door, directly into the hallway. This handy space has dark wood flooring, which, set against the white doors and skirtings, gives lovely clean lines. Using the space to great effect, there’s a unit consisting of coat hooks, a seat and storage under for shoes and whatnot! By the way, throughout the Walkergate is a textured wall cladding in deep olive green. The curtains are all green/cream lightly checked and along with the dark wood floor and grey carpets the colour palette is really easy on the eye. From the hall to your left, is a half-glazed door separating the hall and bedrooms from the open plan living area – a nice touch of privacy. The kitchen/dining space is well appointed. There’s a 4-ring gas hob with backsplash and extractor over and oven under. There’s an integral fridge/freezer and dishwasher and absolutely masses of cupboard and drawer space. The dining table seats 4 in fully upholstered dining chairs which tuck neatly under the table. Windows on either side of this area make it a light, bright space. The lounge has full width sliding patio doors bringing in plenty of light. There are 2 free standing sofas. Free standing is good because you can then configure the Walkergate to suit your lifestyle. The dark olive textured walling makes this a real statement space. There’s a deep fireplace with wood mantle over and a cast iron, faux log burner. Above the mantle is a space for a large, wall mounted TV. Back through to the hallway to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Just a note here – the internal doors are nice and heavy giving the whole Walkergate that quality build feel. The twin room is spacious with a single wardrobe and a built-in dressing table and mirror. Opposite this bedroom is the family shower room. Again, lots of clean lines from the dark wood flooring and white suite. There’s an obscured opening window with a blind, heated towel rail and plenty of storage. The master suite is at the end of the Walkergate. It’s smart! There’s a King size bed with large headboard behind, sitting in a wooden recess. A double wardrobe and dressing area with a dressing table, stool and mirror are to your right. This space has a large window bringing in lots of light – a real plus when applying your make-up! The master bedroom is served by an ensuite shower room with a white suite, large shower enclosure, opening, obscured window with a blind and bags of storage. So, there you have it.
